It was no Tricks only Treats at the lavish Halloween Soiree held at the luminous Sutton Hotel. Laurie Belle  (Get Cooking with the Stars, Leftcoast TV) which highlights celebrities and cooking on a global scale  (Gene Simmons, Coco Rocha, Amanda Tapping, Martin Sheen, Gold Medalist Ashleigh McIvor ) caught up with Talents Karen Holness, (Corner Gas), Adrian Holmes who starred alongside Halle Berry in Frankie and Alice, (Arrow, 19-2) , Jaime Callica Inc, and Massiah Vaughn (Dussault Inc, Steve Nash). Lesley Diana ( Promotion People) publicity firm to some of the most notable talents in North America (Emmanuelle Vaugier, Darryl Lenox) helped coordinate the celebrities and press. The ghoulishly Glam event included the four C’s :Costumes, Champagne, Canapés, and Celebrities.  Veuve Clicquot  bubbly was flowing throughout the evening and JetSet Crew Hosts Craig Stowe and Jamie Goehring were gracious.. Amanda Tapping, Zak Santiago and director Katrin Bowen of “Random Acts of Romance”, will be appearing on entertainment show, “Get Cooking with the Stars”.

Vancouver, British Columbia (Monday, March 19 2012) – “Get Cooking with the Stars”, is pleased to announce that the stars and director of the film “Random Acts of Romance” (RAOR) will be featured in an upcoming episode.

Host Laurie Belle will be joined by actress Amanda Tapping (Sanctuary, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis), Zak Santiago (Amazon Falls, Robson Arms) and indie filmmaker Katrin Bowen.

Random Acts of Romance (RAOR) is described as “a relationship comedy about intense characters in extreme relationship situations — and the crazy and obsessive behaviors that spring from this thing called love.” Santagio and Tapping star as Matt and Dianne, a married couple who met in college when Dianne was Matt’s teacher. The movie explores the struggles they have in their relationship and the interconnected theme of the people that get in between their marriage. Tapping’s character, Diane, meets a millionaire named Richard, who is in love with his stalker Lynn. Meanwhile, Santiago’s character, Matt, has already fallen in love with someone else. RAOR is a hilarious feature with dynamic characters that we can all identify with.

The film is directed by Katrin Bowen and written by Kevin McComiskie, Jillian Mannion and Katrin Bowen. For more information about the movie, visit their official website randomactsofromance.com. RAOR is scheduled to release in the summer of 2012.
